Peru, in itself, is a magical, majestic and spiritual place but it is important to have just the right guides and these are the ones. in addition to perfect planning for excursions to UNESCO Sites, the background provided by our expert guide, Silverio, gave it so much more meaning and understanding of the Incan culture. What I appreciated the most, aside from his knowledge, was his sense of humor, and his patience.
Erika, also Peruvian, provided physical and spiritual guidance through her meditations and yoga, at which she is highly trained and skilled. Plus she’s just an amazing person, period! I’m proud to say I was her first Yoga student.
The grounds at Wilka T’ika, our accommodations, are beyond description. I was mesmerized by the flowers and the well planned Chakra gardens. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. I almost wanted to just hang out there every day but our excursions were remarkable. Every single one of them! I have been to Machu Picchu before, but I learned so much more this time and it was truly an incredible experience I will never forget
